Old Spanish Days-Fiesta has always held a special place in our heats.

Early on in our marriage we connected over Fiesta and began participating in the many magical events, each year adding in something new. From our first foray at La Fiesta del Museo as newlyweds and train excursions down to Los Angeles to get Fiesta ready to today’s full line-up of events and involvement on the Board of Directors, Old Spanish Days has brought us together as a couple.

Fiesta has indeed become a large part of our lives; providing opportunities for friendship, collaboration, passion and joy. The spring in our step and excitement in our hearts is palpable each year as the festival draws near. Our home turns into one large splash of color and outfits. Our yard becomes a celebration of Santa Barbara’s greatest event through flags, confetti eggs and bunting.

This year’s theme, Fiesta Romantica!, speaks directly to our experience with this cherished annual celebration. It truly is a festival of romance and history of pageantry and tradition. We love sharing Old Spanish Days with our friends and family and wish the entire Santa Barbara community a wonderful 2015 Fiesta.
