We met in 1976 in a pub in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where we were both born and raised.  We were then married with in 2 years and moved to Hawaii where Doug attended the University of Hawaii (UH) while Lorri supported them both while working various restaurant jobs there.  She never ever let's him forget that!

After UH graduation, Dougs first job offer was with an Ocean Engineering company in Montecito and Lorri's worked with Santa Barbara Savings.  Over the years we have lived all over the world with Doug's consulting business.  We've lived such places as New Zealand, Scotland and Canada, but have always come back to Santa Barbara.  We finally bought a home here in Santa Barbara 15 years ago and feel Santa Barbara is where we will spend the rest of our lives.  We feel very honored to be a participant in the 2015 Misa del Presidente.
