It has been many years since we spoke our marriage vows, we felt we would like to renew them at the Misa del Presidente, Renewal of Vows,

as Fiesta has been part of our lives for many years.  The following is a shortened story of our relationship.

On December 31, 1957, Ken and I were introduced along with two other couples by our mutual friends as blind dates to a New Years Eve Party.  Ken was attending Ohio University and I was a senior in high school.  We didn't have much communication, till I asked him to escort me to my Senior Prom, when he was home on Spring Break.

It was during this time, he told me he was leaving Ohio U. to attend Brooks' Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA.  Our relation ship grew by long distance.  Ken returned home to Ohio for Christmas,

1958.  We were

engaged on Christmas

Day.  We set our

wedding date as July

11, 1959, he then

returned to Ca. till a

month before the

wedding.

After we were married,

we both came to Santa

Barbara in October,

1959 and have never left. 

We have three grown

children all were born

at Cottage Hospital.

The four couples that were introduced that December 31, 1957 married and have remained married.  Through the years and many miles difference, we have remained close friends.
