Fiesta has a special place in my heart.  I started dancing at the young age of 3 and participated in many years of Fiesta as a young girl, in my teenage years and in some of my adult years with the most recent being back in 2012.  But my FAVORITE year was when I became Spirit of Fiesta in 1989.

Victor and I started dating in 1990 and he would come to all of my fiesta shows to watch me perform.  We married in 1991and he have four children, Daniel, David, Desirae and Dominic.  We love to attend different Fiesta events and see all the beautiful dancers and our children have also been involved in Fiesta.  Whether they are in the parades with other family members or it's been our daughter dancing all around town at different venues.

Having our vows blessed at the Mission during Misa del Presidente not only would mean so much to us because it's during Fiesta, but also because I'm a 9th generation born in Santa Barbara and my decendents are founders of the Santa Barbara Mission.
