Russell and I met on parade day, Friday, 1990.  I was on the Castro party float, he was marching and playing the colonial drum for the Presidio entry.  Our first meeting was at the Fiesta Parade at the beach.  Our second meeting was at the Santa Barbara Court House on October 30, 1999 in the Mural Room.  Russell was born August 13, 1955, during the Children's Parade in Saint Francis Hospital.  He is 9 generations Santa Barbarian.  I was born in Santa Monica, CA and portrayed Saint Barbara in the 2003 Fiesta Parade.  Together we have portrayed many different historic people for Fiesta and for the birthday (April 21, 1782) of the City of Santa Barbara.  We love Fiesta and all the color and costumes and memories it brings.  Our Motto is "Bringing History to the People"
