Kelly & Yolanda Yturralde

We met shortly after Fiesta 2001, right here in Santa Barbara. No, it wasn't love at first sight; instead our love for one another grew through a passionate courtship.  We have celebrated Fiesta every year since we joyously attended our first Fiesta Pequeña.  We feel that Latin dancing is in our blood, and have learned to dance Salsa and the Argentine Tango. We have been thrilled to see our daughter Ysabella bloom into a spirited Flamenco dancer over these last 5 years. Kelly's Basque and Yolanda's Puerto Rican people are lively and fuel our drive to travel around the world with each other. Next stop will be Puerto Rico, and then Spain!

We jumped at the chance to participate in todays Commitment Blessing because we are both Romantics. The idea of renewing our12 year old vows in the Old Jewel of the California Missions with our family attending, has fanned the flames of our passion. Para Siempre Kelly. Para Siempre Yolanda.

Our twin 7-year-old sons, Antonio and Zander, and our10 year old daughter, Ysabella, Santa Barbara's 2015 Junior Spirit, are here with us today and they represent the fruit of our spiritual connection.  Brother John, nephew Cooper, both sets of parents, and best friends have all come to join in our renewal and recommitment to our love. We thank El Presidente for inviting us to celebrate with other Fiesta Families today ¡Viva la Familia Lopez y Yturralde! And Viva la Fiesta!
